Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer | by John Grisham

Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer by John Grisham
(Puffin, 2011, 272 pages)

Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer is another great courtroom drama by John Grisham. There is one big difference. Theodore Boone was written for young readers. Theodore Boone is a 13 year old only child who can’t decide if he wants to be a lawyer or a judge when he grows up.

In Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer, Theo has come across some evidence which could change the outcome of an ongoing murder trial. Theo’s not quite sure what to do. He eventually consults his disbarred uncle and his lawyer parents to come up with a solution.

John Grisham is continuing the Theodore Boone series. The next novel is called Theodore Boone: Kid Abduction. While Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer is written with young readers in mind, it is just as enjoyable for adults. The book is fast-paced and hard to put down. I recommend Theodore Boone for John Grisham fans of all ages.
